Gleneagles owners pay annual assessments on their property. Our assessments are billed quarterly or you can chose to have it automatically deducted from your bank account by using the following ACH Debit Form. The authority for collecting those assessments can be found in the Master Declaration. The collection policy, including assessment of late fees, can be found in section 6.8 titled Effect of Non-Payment of Assessments: Remedies of the Association.
The current assessments are 100 dollars annually for each lot with road frontage less than fifty feet and 150 dollars annually for lots with road frontage greater than fifty feet. Those amounts are set in the Master Declaration and can be found in section 6.6 titled Date of Commencement and Amounts of Annual Assessments.
The covenants for each section of the neighborhood describe the restrictions on improvements that can be made to your property. They also require you to obtain approval from the board of directors of the association before making improvements to your property. These restrictions exist in order to protect the collective property values of our neighborhood.
If you plan to make any sort of improvement to your property, such as building a fence, gazebo, storage shed, pool or any other structure, consult the covenants for your section so that you are aware of what is allowed. Then, contact the board of directors and submit the plans for your work. These plans should include any pictures, drawings or other information about the improvements that you are planning. For your convenience, a quick fence application is available.
To submit your plans, you may attend the monthly board meeting or contact the association via the e-mail address listed on the contact page. If you have any questions about improvements, ask before you build! The board is happy to answer your questions.
